Train the training master class is designed to develop or refresh the professional trainer’s skills to run exciting and productive training programs.

The training session is a dynamic and interactive one focusing on optimizing the knowledge, developing skills and forming attitudes by using the behavioral sciences applied through the experiential method.

At the end of the course you will complete an action plan and after 2 month on follow up activity you will receive a questionnaire by e-mail about your progress.

How will I be assessed?

Initial assessment

The initial assessment questionnaire will be applied in introductory session, focus on needs assessment and learner’s level of competence in order to set up the learner’s profile
 

Formative assessment

The participants will fill in the daily learning journal how their previous experience was applied
 

Summative assessment

Summative assessment will be focus on theoretical assessment and practical assessment
 

Theoretical assessment

You will complete a 15 minutes length lesson plan based on following structure:
Learning objectives, learning tasks, methods, resources, assessment, tips for trainer.
 

Practical assessment

You will provide 15 minutes training session on a preferred topic for your colleagues on day 4 training agenda and you will receives feedback from your colleagues and from the trainer on yours strengths and areas where you need to develop your training skills. After that you will complete a self-assessment questionnaire.

 

Entry requirements

  • Qualification/s or experience in your subject area.
  • Applicants are expected to have a good command of both written and spoken English

Description

The TOT training program is based on a 22 years training experience in the applied behavioral sciences through the experiential method.

It is designed for the trainers working in intercultural environments, public bodies dealing with education of adults, multinational companies, the HR specialists that also provide training sessions within the company they are working for, the managers that are looking to improve the way they interact and coordinate with their staff, and any person who may be interested of becoming a trainer and wants to improve certain aspects of his/her training method.

 

During this session the trainer applies techniques used in the USA training programs, UK learning programs and combines them with techniques used at a European level. It is an interactive course offering each trainer the possibility to think of new ways and means of training. It provides the participants a safe lab environment where they can also focus on the development of their own character.

The Schultz Knowledge TOT focuses on learning from a non-formal but also from a vocational point of view.

At the end of the course the participants will receive a Trainer Certificate.

Techniques that are used when processing information:
Group discussions related to the patterns and subjects that come up due to one’s own experience

  • The participants will have to supervise the process and describe the things they notice throughout it.

 

Techniques that are used in order to facilitate the generalization process:

  • Summing up the lessons using short, concise and generalized sentences
  • The group will discuss and agree upon the definitions, concepts, terms and key sentences.
  • Individual and group reactions to issues such as : ” How do you think what you have learned and done during this session relates to day to day life? ”

 

Techniques used in order to facilitate the application stage:

  • Individual and group reactions to the question: “How could you apply the knowledge and experience you have acquired during this training session in order to be more efficient when performing your daily tasks?
  • Reviewing the information that was received during the training session and analyzing the conclusions in order to come up with new perspectives, plans and behaviors
  • change and / or development of the action plans, personal goals and the ways and means of changing one’s own behavior
