Vladislav Plaskov is the CEO of OGI Europe established in 2009 with the meaning of the abbreviation being One Good Idea. By 2015 OGI Europe became one of the more recognizable training companies in Europe, employing globally recognized gurus, working with companies such as Nestle, Mondelez, Sanofi Aventis, Sandoz, BASF, EFES, JTI, PMI, Danone, Coca Cola, Pepsico, Teliasonera, Loreal, Avon and, many others.
In 1998 started as junior salesman in one of the main sportswear chains in Israel, Rony Wertaimer, and became the deputy manager of their largest store in Tel Aviv the year after. From 2001 was working for one of the top players in the cable TV industry in Israel, ’HOT’ as a member of the “last stop” department which was set up for clients who wanted to leave the company. The department’s role was to retain clients to rather than leave for the competition, despite their obvious dissatisfaction, following customer service trying & failing to to do so. After all, keeping an old customer is more cost effective than acquiring a new one. Later on in 2003 became sales manager in the largest internet provider company in Israel, “Bezeq Ben Leumi”, in an identical department. In 2007 he decided that it is time for new challenges thus moved to Hungary and started working for one of the biggest training & conferences providers in Hungary, managing the sales department for marketing programs, being responsible for several major marketing conferences in CEE as well as multiple trainings in different locations. In 2009 he has opened his own company “OGI Europe” mainly dealing with sales & marketing trainings. During the 6 years of its operation, the company became a household brand on the market. A success story in the making: despite the obvious difficulties of selling any product via telesales, he manages to close contracts ranging between 5,000-180,000 EUR primarily on the phone and occasionally on a meeting after the initial phone & email communication.
